"In My Shoes" distributed in new Frameline compilation

ImageIn My Shoes was just re-released on a new compilation series entitled "Youth in Motion" from Frameline Distribution.  The four Youth in Motion compilation disks were also distributed to 130 high schools in the state of California with action and curriculum guides.  This means "In My Shoes" will have even greater impact through the Frameline-G.S.A. advocacy partnership. The compilation disk with curriculum is available for $24.99.

MINE receives Chicken & Egg "I Believe in You" Grant

MINE was awarded a prestigious "I Believe in You" grant from Chicken & Egg Pictures, an organization which supports emerging women filmmakers.  The award-winning filmmaking trio behind Chicken & Egg -- Judith Helfand, Julie Parker Benello, and Wendy Ettinger -- will provide mentorship and funding to the makers of MINE.

 
 
MINE receives ITVS LINCS funding
MINE (former working title "Ghosts of Appalachia") received an ITVS LINCS award for broadcast on public television in partnership with station partner KET, Kentucky's PBS stations.  The LINCS award matches station and producer contributions for the finishing of the one-hour program.  For more about ITVS LINCS, see http://itvs.org.  Visit the official site of MINE at http://minedocumentary.org.
